Position:
Technical Specialist – Southern California Region (San Diego)

Job Description:
Join the leading manufacturer of architectural and landscape luminaries. Vista Professional Outdoor Lighting is seeking a Technical Specialist to join our landscape sales team in the Southern California (San Diego) market. Candidate should have stand-up instruction skills and aptitude for delivering technical training. Candidate should be experienced with hands-on exercises. Strong communication and organizational skills are a must. Candidate should be able to teach in a team environment.

The technical Specialist will work closely with District Sales Managers. He will maintain a client database in assigned region and market, developing relationships with distributor personnel. Candidate must have proven strengths in multi-tasking, organization, research and knowledge of the irrigation industry. Candidate should have effective written and oral sales skills. Minimum five years sales experience.

Candidate should have computer knowledge of MS Office, Excel, and Power Point; and comprehensive knowledge and operation of the Internet; ability to travel and availability to work evenings when required.
